Don Glencross is the Quality Assurance Manager at Fourstar. He joined the Fourstar team in early 2005, responsible for ensuring the overall quality and reliability of all cable and wire harness products delivered by the company. Don was primarily responsible for finding a better way when helping design a complete rethinking of the company’s test strategies and technology several years ago, making a measurable impact on the process and quality delivered to customers. In addition to his quality responsibilities, Don is Safety Officer, IT Manager, and ISO-9000 representative for the company. Don’s philosophy of continuous improvement is completely in sync with the company mission of finding a better way: contributing to many custom application software solutions to improve internal processes and streamlining and simplifying methods, ultimately contributing to the highest levels of quality and satisfaction for customers.
Prior to his role at Fourstar, Don held positions for nearly 30 years in the telecommunications, industrial automation, and aerospace industries in key quality roles. He is a senior member of the ASQ, Boston section, as well as a Certified Quality Engineer and Quality Manager. He is also a certified IPC-A-620 and J-STD-001 instructor as well.
Don earned his B.S. in electrical engineering from Northeastern University, and master’s degree in quality management from the National Graduate School.
Complementing his work at Fourstar, Don is very involved with his church, serving roles in education, board of trustees as president, and presently, its treasurer. He is a member of several philanthropic organizations. In addition to spending time with family, woodworking is his favorite hobby.
